Stefan Herr is a Senior Partner with Simon-Kucher and Global Head of the Technology & Industrial Practice.
He advises companies from the fields of machine and plant engineering and construction as well as electronic and electrical engineering.
Stefan is an expert in the subject of Sales and Pricing Excellence for industrial goods manufacturers across Europe with the goal of sustainably increasing customers’ returns. Projects deal with optimizing all pricing and sales levers (et al. strategy, price setting, price implementation, spare parts and services) and developing international sales, market entry and market strategies. Within the scope of his advisory activities, Stefan has conducted projects in Europe, North America, China and Japan, implementing new solutions for numerous projects.
With regard to the energy industry, he has advised numerous public utilities companies and regional suppliers, particularly in Germany and in Austria.
Stefan is a regular speaker at various industry-specific events and conferences of the associations VDMA and ZVEI. He has written numerous articles on current topics in the fields of management and marketing, and regarding the topics machine engineering and electronic branches. He is co-author of the books “Pricing Excellence for Technology Companies” and “Marketing for Utility Companies”.
