I have spent my career building sales and marketing engines for world-beating companies (Upwork, Box, Culture Amp and now Carta) and think deeply about how GTM motions are changing. I’ve also taken a swing at a start up with Gated where we shook outbound email to its core.
I have led GTM Operations (SOPS, MOPS, CSOPS and Enablement) and other functions (demand gen, sales and data…) at four unicorns. I have scaled two companies from $10 million to $100 million ARR (I enjoy getting my hands dirty) and also led at scale ($400+ million ARR at Box and Carta). The go-to-market motion is evolving rapidly and I understand how to:
- Accelerate growth. I have run marketing operations at four unicorns and Demand Generation at two. I understand how to innovate on top-of-funnel and improve conversion across the funnel.
- Leverage data to drive alignment and execution. I’ve led the migration to the modern data stack and understand how companies can restructure their GTM motions to leverage data.
- Drive efficiency. I’ve led GTM strategy and operations, transitioning from messy growth to efficient scale.
- Deliver retention and growth at scale: I have run operations for 4 companies with 10,000+ customers. I understand how to leverage data to inflect retention and drive expansion.
