Dr. Nathan Swilling is a Senior Partner and Co-Head of the global Pharma & Biotech practice within Simon-Kucher's Life Sciences activities in Boston. Since joining the company in 2004, he has specialized in strategic marketing, access planning, pricing, and reimbursement of pharmaceuticals and biotech products.
He has worked in a broad range of therapeutic areas but has developed a practice focus on oncology. At Simon-Kucher, Nathan works on a broad range of engagements including: developing global launch pricing strategies, understanding stakeholder value perceptions and value messaging, and assessments of early stage compounds. Other project areas include cardiovascular disease, diabetes, anti-infectives, insomnia, and lifestyle medications. In addition, he has conducted projects in animal health.
Prior to joining Simon-Kucher, Nathan was a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Molecular Oncology Research Institute of New England Medical Center in Boston, MA. He completed his PhD in biological chemistry and molecular pharmacology at Harvard University and served as a post-doctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School. Nathan earned his B.S. in biochemistry with honors at Messiah College.
He has authored peer-reviewed publications in basic science and possesses extensive experience in oncology research.
