Tom is a partner in Simon-Kucher’s Amsterdam office and leads the Transaction Services & Private Equity practice in the Netherlands.
He has over 17 years of experience in buy-side and sell-side commercial due diligence, market entry strategy and strategic investment strategy support. His project work focuses on creating deep commercial insights in transaction settings, working for international & local private equity and corporates in the Netherlands and across Europe.
Having worked across many industries, Tom has deep knowledge of waste management & recycling, mobility, manufacturing and wholesale.
In particular, Tom is a thought-leader in waste management and recycling and is a trusted advisor of a number of leading recycling, petrochemical, and private equity players on their circularity strategy and investments. He has coauthored several papers and is a regular speaker on sustainability & circularity strategy and investments.
Prior to joining Simon-Kucher, Tom was a strategy partner at a large international consultant. Tom earned his MSc in Business Administration from Radboud University in Nijmegen. Tom loves to spend quality time with his family, has a passion for history, and is an avid field hockey player.
