About Mithila

Mithila is a Partner in the Life Sciences division at Simon-Kucher & Partners, based in Boston. She specializes in helping pharmaceutical and biotech companies navigate product launches, pipeline and portfolio strategy, as well as evidence generation planning. As the leader of the firm’s Real-World Evidence Center of Excellence, she has a keen interest in approaches to integrate real-world evidence into strategic decision-making.

Mithila has more than 8 years of consulting experience, spanning a wide range of topics, including global pricing and market access strategy, portfolio positioning, U.S. payer contracting, U.S. distribution strategy, stakeholder segmentation and engagement, scenario planning and competitive defense, and real-world evidence strategy.

She brings deep knowledge of the US as well as of key European and Asian markets, with a particular focus on infectious diseases, oncology, and immunology.

Before joining Simon-Kucher & Partners, Mithila earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry and Chemical Biology from Harvard University, where her research centered on antibiotic resistance mechanisms and the development of combination therapies for drug-resistant pathogens. She has authored peer-reviewed scientific publications and has extensive expertise in chemical biology research. Mithila also holds a B.A. in Chemistry and Mathematics from Bryn Mawr College, graduating with honors in Chemistry.
