Amit Kumar is the Managing Partner for Simon-Kucher, India. He is based in our Mumbai office, where he supports clients in the Technology, Media, and Telecom sector with profitable growth strategies.
Amit has more than 20 years of experience in pricing, go-to-market strategies, sales productivity optimization, and monetization.
Prior to joining Simon-Kucher, Amit was Head of Business Consulting and Advisory Partnerships at Amazon Web Services (AWS) India. During his time there, he spearheaded strategic engagements with large enterprises, including some of the largest GenAI initiatives for AWS in the Asia-Pacific region. He also worked for over a decade in Silicon Valley, where he helped several Big Tech and high-growth technology companies with pricing, GTM strategy, and business model transformations.
Amit holds an MBA from Duke University, USA and a Bachelor of Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
When he is not working, he enjoys playing tennis and giving back to the tech community by advising founders at early-stage companies. He is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
