Carsten Mangels is a Partner in Simon-Kucher’s global Insurance practice and is based in the Munich office.
Carsten supports his clients as an expert on sales excellence and digital transformation. His projects focus on improving customer centricity and delivering culture for growth. He has extensive project experience and has spearheaded numerous projects for insurance companies in Europe, Southeast Asia and North America.
Carsten is fiercely excited about the developments in the insurance industry and the ongoing changes. To cope with these changes, he and his teams develop omnichannel distribution strategies, data driven customer contact management approaches, and digital sales processes. In all project settings, his clients value his collaborative project management approaches and the trustful relationships he builds.
Carsten studied at Zeppelin University Friedrichshafen, Münster School of Business and Economics, Lisbon School of Management, and FDU Vancouver. He holds a master’s degree in corporate management and economics and a bachelor’s degree in political science. During his studies, Carsten’s academic focus was on behavioral economics, strategic management, and open innovation.
