Declaration of consent for the publication of photographs, video and/or audio on social media platforms

The participant, hereby consents to the publication of the photographs, video and/or audio representing or containing personal data of the participant (hereafter “Content”) on social media platforms of Simon-Kucher & Partners Strategy & Marketing Consultants GmbH or Simon-Kucher & Co. Holding GmbH or Simon-Kucher & Partners Strategy & Marketing Consultants LLC or Simon-Kucher & Partners Strategy & Marketing Consultants LLP, such as Facebook, Xing, LinkedIn, Twitter, et cetera, by Simon-Kucher & Partners Strategy & Marketing Consultants GmbH or Simon-Kucher & Co. Holding GmbH or Simon-Kucher & Partners Strategy & Marketing Consultants LLC or Simon-Kucher & Partners Strategy & Marketing Consultants LLP (“Simon-Kucher”) which were taken at the event and may show the participant as attendee of the event.

Absent such consent, Simon-Kucher will refrain from publishing content. Content which is covered by this consent will be referred to as “Covered Content” for the purposes of this declaration.

Should any Covered Content meant for publication allow any inference as to the religious beliefs, health, racial or ethnic origin or any other sensitive and special categories of data of the participant, this consent explicitly covers the publication of this material.

The participant affirms that this consent is freely given or withheld without any risk of disadvantages to the participant. In particular, the participant was advised prior to issuing this consent that such consent was revocable at any time by written or electronic notice. The participant understands that following such revocation the respective content has to be deleted from any website it has been publicized on and from any hard drive or cloud storage. Any revocation will not affect any publication of Covered Content in the past.

Additional Information according to Article 13 GDPR

The legal basis for the processing of the covered material is your consent (Article 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR)

Simon-Kucher stores the covered content as long as you or one of the persons depicted with you on the covered content have not revoked your consent.

Publication of the covered content may qualify as transfer to third countries. You should be aware that pictures published in the internet are accessible for third parties worldwide. Concerning the platforms we intend to use, we ensure that the platform service provider has a valid privacy shield certification in place or that we entered into EU Model clauses with them. Nevertheless, the covered content will be published to an undefined number of internet users.
