Roshel Jayasundera is a Partner in Simon-Kucher’s Life Sciences Division based out of the Dubai office. With 20 years’ experience, Roshel has spent the latter half of her career on advising multinational pharmaceutical and biotech companies on how to drive transformational change across healthcare systems in emerging markets. Roshel is an expert in designing and implementing sustainable access solutions, including Patient Assistance Programs, that connect innovative treatment and patients across Latin America, Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. She has deep expertise in shaping corporate strategies and translating these to actionable and impactful solutions across multiple therapeutic areas.
Prior to joining Simon-Kucher, Roshel was the Managing Partner and Board Member of Axios International.
Roshel holds a BSc in Medical Biotechnology from L’Università Degli Studi Dell’Aquila (Italy), an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School (UK) and she obtained her certification on “AI in Healthcare” from MIT. Roshel is also a committed advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, actively supporting the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) as a member and advisor. Her work has also been published in peer-reviewed journals.
