Kaan-Fabian is a Partner in the Life Sciences division and Head of Frankfurt office. He is a member of the global HealthTech practice. He is based in Frankfurt after having worked out of the company’s Cologne and San Francisco offices.
Kaan-Fabian's consulting work at Simon-Kucher is built on two pillars: end-to-end commercial consulting service for highly customized project business within Healthcare B2B, and large scale commercial and pricing excellence programs for Healthtech companies.
Within his work for Healthcare B2B companies (e.g. CDMOs, CROs, B2B software, CMOs, CPOs etc.), Kaan-Fabian is covering all commercial areas from offer alignment, project costing, and value-based pricing models to quotation management. With his regular publications in leading industry magazines, Kaan-Fabian is recognized as a thought leader within value-based pricing specifically for the CDMO industry.
Moreover, he has been helping numerous large Healthtech companies across several subsectors (equipment, medical devices and consumables) on their road to commercial and pricing excellence. Among others, Kaan-Fabian has worked extensively in portfolio list price optimization, performance-based discounting, and price governance.
Kaan-Fabian holds a Master of Science in Management from University of Mannheim (Germany). His studies included periods at Tongji University (Shanghai, China) and Marmara University (Istanbul, Turkey).
