Joerg Kruetten is a Senior Partner and Co-CEO of Simon-Kucher. He has been with the firm for more than 20 years. Before becoming Co-CEO on January 1, 2025, he served as Global Managing Partner Healthcare & Life Sciences at Simon-Kucher for over 10 years. With decades of experience, Joerg is a recognized expert in strategic corporate development, licensing and acquisitions, marketing, and pricing.
He has helped numerous leading multinationals, innovation leaders, and regional champions unlock sustainable, profitable growth. Joerg was previously a shareholder in a medical device start-up. Prior to joining Simon-Kucher, he began his consulting career at Accenture and served as Head of Corporate Development/M&A at a leading German family investment holding company.
Joerg has published several articles on management topics. He is an external lecturer at the University of Basel, the European School of Business in Tuttlingen, and the Technical University of Kaiserslautern, as well as a speaker at international conferences. He studied mechanical engineering and business administration at the Technical University of Munich and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, specializing in corporate development.
