PE Breakfast Roundtable | Profit vs Purpose

Wednesday, 15, January, 2025
pe-breakfast

In recent years, sustainability has gained increasing attention in the corporate world, largely driven by pressure from both investors and consumers. However, there are also voices suggesting that consumers aren't truly willing to pay for sustainability, and that it’s not a deeply rooted desire among customers.

The question of whether sustainability and profitability are at odds or can go hand in hand is set to be one of the key issues for the investment world in the coming years. During the upcoming PE Breakfast Series, we’ll explore both sides of this debate.

The substantive part of the morning will start with Jeroen Kelder, managing partner at Infinity Recycling. He will share his experiences regarding fundraising and deal execution as an investor in sustainable business models. Afterwards, Tom Hesselink and Juriaan Deumer, both partners at Simon-Kucher, will share their vision and experiences on commercial value creation throughout the deal cycle.

We will ensure there is ample opportunity for discussion with the speakers, as well as among the participants.
